After the sorrow situation that helloed 2021 many, many people saw this festive season as a time to return to near normal. But new year's eve celebrations around the world once again have been scaled back amid the increased COVID-19 infections stirred by the omicron variant. This hasn't left Uganda anywhere but with security agencies banning use of fireworks, burning tyres and crossover prayers. These rituals on New year's eve bringing together families, friends and individuals to welcome the new year in style.
By and large we had to be in 2022 and hear it has come where many people around the world think 2022 will be a better year than 2021.

Despite the arrival of the omicron variant of COVID-19, people are surprisingly positive about the new year. All countries have fully or almost shifted the lockdown leaving all sectors open.
This has shaded a green light on different institutions to revamp from both social and economic depression. Whereas gregarious ones and night owls have a reason to celebrate life.
